With the aim of creating a healthy and meaningful space for children and families to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, Phu My Hung Corporation will host the Phu My Hung Mid-Autumn Festival 2026. The event aims to strengthen family bonds, foster community connections, and celebrate traditional cultural values.
The event will take place from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Park P2 on Tran Van Tra Street, Phu My Hung City Center, Tan Hung Ward, featuring a variety of vibrant activities inspired by the traditions of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Children can enjoy traditional folk games such as tug-of-war, sack races, Ô ăn quan (a traditional Vietnamese board game), rice-carrying across a bridge, and blindfolded can-smashing. They can also take part in creative activities, including lantern making, tò he (traditional Vietnamese toy figurines), and wrist-jewelry making. The Organizer will also host two exciting competitions for children: the Star Lantern Making Contest and the Mid-Autumn Painting Contest.
A highlight of the event will be lively stage performances featuring children alongside Uncle Cuoi and Sister Hang, beloved characters associated with the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival. The festive atmosphere will continue with mooncake sharing and a lantern parade, creating memorable moments for children and families and making the celebration a truly meaningful Mid-Autumn experience.
The Phu My Hung Mid-Autumn Festival 2026 will be open to the public and free of charge, welcoming children and families to join in the festivities.
